Applied Clinical Psychology Services (ACPS) Ltd was established in 2018 by Dr Frank Beesley, Consultant Clinical Psychologist & Chartered Psychologist.
We offer a number of services including:
Applied Clinical Psychology Services (ACPS) Ltd provides medico-legal psychological assessments at clinic venues that cover most of the North West of England (see clinics).
Dr Frank Beesley, Consultant Clinical Psychologist & Chartered Psychologist, qualified as a clinical psychologist in 2000.
Since 2012 he has provided expert witness work including preparation of medico-legal psychological assessments for The Court.
Dr Frank Beesley works with Civil cases preparing psychological reports for The Court with instructions received including claimant, defendant and joint instructions.
The cases involve clients who have suffered psychological distress following different types of trauma and these can include difficulties following road traffic collisions (RTCs), falls or medical negligence incidents.

Applied Clinical Psychology Services (ACPS) Ltd offer Medico-Legal Psychological Assessments for Adults in Civil Litigation cases. These can range from personal injury following events such as road traffic collisions (RTC’s), work-place incidents, or medical negligence.
Applied Clinical Psychology Services (ACPS) Ltd aims to offer a fast and efficient service with appointments being offered within 4-6 weeks of referral at the most, often sooner. A flexible approach is adopted as we aim to meet your needs. Urgent cases where, for example, court deadlines need to be met, will be treated as urgent.
