ACPS aims to offer a fast and efficient service with appointments being offered within 4-6 weeks of referral at the most, often sooner. A flexible approach is adopted as we aim to meet your needs. Urgent cases where, for example, court deadlines need to be met, will be treated as urgent.
Applied Clinical Psychology Services (ACPS) Ltd are able to offer a psychological assessment of a wide range of difficulties, including psychological problems such as those covered by the following diagnoses:
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Adjustments Disorders (with anxiety and / or depression).
- Specific Phobias (e.g. car travel, fear of falling).
- Major Depressive Disorders.
- Generalised Anxiety Disorder.
- Panic Disorder.
We are also experienced in assessing difficulties such as:
- Psychological adjustment to life changing events (e.g., following clinical / medical negligence).
- Psychological adjustment to chronic pain.
- Psychological adjustment to physical scarring.
All psychological reports will be with the instructing party (agency or solicitor) within 10 working days following an assessment with your client, unless of course the case is urgent when the report will be with you sooner (upon request).
